About The Artist

Juliette lives with her husband Stephen, daughter Melina and her son Michael in Queensland, Australia. "Although I have been an artist for most of my life, my early works were of mostly birds and flowers. I remember saying that I couldn’t draw from my imagination, but of course, this was before I knew that the imagination comes from the heart, not the head. After the loss of my son James in the year 2000, I re-prioritized my life and decided to make art my career. I vowed to only ever do what I love—to focus on life, rather than merely a living. We were living in Western Australia at the time and I was directed by a friend to do a course in Visionary Art, which I now teach in my workshops. At the same time, I also learned about Reiki Healing and became a level one practitioner, mostly for self-healing. I have since become a Reiki Master/Teacher, as well as an Ayurvedic healer. My artwork is based in the spiritual realm, which I believe is inspired by a Higher Source. The guidance I have received through meditation that, in turn is brought through to my paintings, has often been incredibly accurate. I do most of my artwork through meditation, or sometimes life just brings me the right inspiration at the right time, especially when I am “In the flow.” In 2006 I illustrated a children’s book called, “The Magical Crystal Garden” written by Maria Target and published in the United States by Creative Books. I have also had my artwork published on the front cover of the White Light magazine a number of times in Queensland, Australia. I am now running a series of workshops on Visionary art and Ayurvedic/ Reiki Healing." |
